Job Description: 

  • Devise mechanisms to measure every element that impacts store operations, and drive improvement initiatives to benchmark on cost or quality or both.
  • Study the best practices of the hyperlocal fulfillment space, both internal and external, and draw and execute plans to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Work on development of standard operating procedures, and continually tweak them with time to improve delivery experience for customers.
  • Own in-spirit deployment of all delivery related SOPs, for all the sites you are responsible for.
  • Be customer obsessed with delivering a world class door-step delivery experience.
  • Map business requirements, understand business processes, study and analyze workflows, design solutions and prepare functional specifications.
  • Be data driven, develop and report performance metrics, executive updates, forecasting, budgeting and analysis to identify potential opportunities for improving Customer Experience.
  • Design, develop, pilot & rollout enterprise wide programs around fulfillment related parameters like performance improvement, cycle time improvement for under the roof activities, fulfillment experience, P&L improvement, etc.
  • Continuously improve the fulfillment process and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvement.
  • Implement formal process controls and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizens.
  • Travel across cities / stores so as to ensure a uniform adoption of the SOPs/best practices.
  • Additional responsibilities may include:
  • Direct accountability for setting and meeting operational goals, strategic planning and forecasting.
  • Step in for a city manager, in case of emergencies. Support the operations team during peak events.
