Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities

Company – 150 year old MNC in the manufacturing of industrial rubber products.

Mandatory – Experience in SAP HR.

Qualification – MBA – HR/IR

Experience – Minimum 7 years in Payroll management

Position – Asst/Dy Manager – Payroll

Location – Kalyani, near Kolkata.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and maintaining HR master data on manpower count, salary & attendance in SAP HR
  • Maintaining the records of attendance, leave, day off, shift change of management staff and workers through CMS biometric attendance record system
  • Managing the time-office & payroll operations, reconciling the salary heads and processing salary revisions in SAP
  • Recording the change in the pay components and employees’ details like address or tax code changes while preparing pay slips, salary vouchers
  • Calculation of the data for incentive, overtime, loss of pay, various variable components that are part of salary
  • Processing reports related to headcount, salary, insurance and so on
  • Administering annual compensation revisions in terms of promotions, transfers and increments based on PMS system.
  • Preparing reports and returns pertaining to PF, ESIC, PT, LWF and Gratuity as per the laws applicable to unit
  • Adhering to taxation norms and submitting quarterly return and annual returns; calculating employee bonus
  • Reconciling interim accounts and posting journals in SAP Tempo
  • Generating the audit data, records & processes and ensuring the audits are conducted smoothly
  • Handling audit & surveys from government along with internal and external audit
  • Addressing the employee queries pertaining to leaves, salary, performance, policies; executing the ad hoc requests
  • Working on data processing including data maintenance, uploading & monitoring in SAP PAP
  • Working experience on annual salary revision and promotion etc
