Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the data modeling and successful transfer of data to Hana.
- Daily responsibilities will include:
- Understanding the functional specifications and convert them into technical designs and specifications
- Convert stored procedures from SQL DB to HANA DB
- Create new stored procedures for HANA
- Optimize stored procedures for HANA
- Defining the Metadata Import process
- Identify Attribute & Measures, Hierarchies
- Design & Creation of HANA Calculation views
- Managing Attribute Mapping
- Design/Create BODS ETL jobs
- Troubleshooting and resolving BODS data load failures
- Organizes project activities to ensure on time delivery of projects
- Prepares and manages project documentation: technical design and technical specification
Minimum Education:
BA/BS or equivalent. MBA desirable
Required Experience: (Must have)
- 3+ years of modeling in Native HANA. Able to use HANA Studio to create the following types of views:
- Attribute views
- Analytic views
- Calculation views (created via GUI or SQLScript)
- Ability to work independently if necessary
- Must be able to articulate and successfully implement proposed solution
- Excellent team player skills, with strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to make decisions under time constraints
- Ensures adherence to schedules and workplans
- Experience with system implementations in a cross-functional environment
- Experience with Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project)
