Job description

• Over 8 years of experience as skilled SAP HCM HR and IT experience with 3 Full life cycle SAP HCM HR implementations.
• Hands-on capabilities: Business process analysis, Blue printing, Configuring, Testing and Go-live support, End-User Documentation and Training for Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, Gross/Net Payroll and Time Management and Support in SAP R/3 versions ECC 6.0.
• Strengths include strong understanding of the business processes, and translation of business requirements into SAP solutions in the most cost effective and client servicing manner, problem solving, decision making, excellent team work, good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Worked in Utilities, Oil Gas Sector, Public Sector and Retail industries.
• Good working knowledge of ASAP methodology and expert in analyzing ‘AS IS’ ‘TO BE’ status of the client and suggesting the solutions best suited for the implementation.
• Extensive experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements for conceptual design and coordination with programming team for customization and implementation of the same.
• A versatile team player and super user with strong business, analytical and communication skills with ability to work on time sensitive projects.

Role: Sr. SAP HCM Functional Consultant
• Worked with the Business Analyst to identify their requirements, design enhancements and functionality to help meet user requirements.
• Responsible for reviewing the developers Technical Design Document TDD to ensure all requirements have been met.
• Involved in Payroll catalog definition and worked with Earnings, deductions, gross up yearend adjustment wage types.
• Changed the required Processing Classes and Evaluation Classes according to Wage types.
• Gathered information required for Wage type Generation.
• Configured Off-Cycle payroll Reasons, Wage types that are allowed for Off-cycle purposes.
• Configured Wage Types including Deductions and Earnings Wage types, Gross Up Wage Types for Bonus Payments according to the Client requirement.
• Created different Symbolic Accounts according to the FI requirement FI-CO Integration .
• Check all the Wage types to make sure all wage types are hitting correct GL accounts Corrected Errors related to Balance Sheet.
• Configured whole Garnishments along with rules required according to the levy support rules according to client requirement.
• Worked with U000 Schema US Payroll Schema .
• Garnishment and converted garnishment orders from Lawson Payroll system to SAP.
• Set up the various integration tables from Payroll to SAP FI/CO set up Treasury configuration for direct deposits, check and cash clearing, FI Integration, A/P Integration. Set up Controlling areas, Company codes, GL accounts, Vendor master, Cost centers, Cost elements, etc. Created multiple symbolic accounts and assigned account assignment type for wage types.
• Third Party Remittance config A/P integration – remittance rules, HR creditors.
• Involved in Tax reporter configuration -supported year end activities and W-2/W-2c generation.
• Responsible for payroll testing and production support for wage types related to Regular and Off-cycle Payroll and transfer of payroll results to SAP FI/CO.
• Analyzed SAP delivered reports and design report specifications necessary for business units to operate business.
• Developed functional and integration test scenarios and test scripts.
• Performed integration testing work as necessary to insure that new functionality or enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Assisted in production support of all payroll integrations Payroll expense/liabilities, Third Party Remittance, and Net pay postings to SAP FI/CO. .
• Involved in creating End User Documents and assisted IT associates.
• Involved in Training End Users and conducted Training Workshops.
• Maintained customer satisfaction by handling all inquiries and deliver a high level of responsiveness and customer service.
